Travis Johnson graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science. He became a US Army helicopter pilot for 8 years before returning to school. Travis completed his Bachelor of Science and Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2013 through the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP). He then worked in the Army as an Airborne Battalion Physician Assistant and Aviation Battalion Aeromedical Physician Assistant. He completed a Doctorate of Medical Science in 2020 through Lynchburg University. Travis worked extensively in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Pain Management, Orthopedics, and Medical Planning.
Travis joined Solas Health in 2018. He is a father of three daughters. He enjoys skiing, travel, and daily exercise. Travis is also serving in the great state of North Carolina in the North Carolina National Guard. Travis believes in working with patients to find the cause of pain or injury and developing a plan to manage the pain effectively.
